Highland Oaks Worship Ministry

The Worship Ministry at HOCC exists to glorify the Lord by bringing both members and guests together in the worship of the Almighty. This ministry is comprised of several sub ministries whose goal is to provide meaningful worship experiences and assemblies. HOCC Worship Ministry is a vibrant, exciting part of what we do each week and highlights our core values.

Music Ministry

The HOCC Music Ministry is led by minister, Chad Higgins. Serving alongside HOCC’s multi-generational, gender-inclusive Praise Team, Chad plans and leads assemblies that contain both traditional and contemporary elements. In addition to the Praise Team that co-leads the assembly with Chad each Sunday, the Music Ministry also functions in different musical configurations, including a large chorus or smaller groupings for special presentations and events. 

Technology Team

Our Sunday morning worship times are supported by a vitally important group of servants who have a gift for working with technology and a heart for worship. The different teams that work to bless our times of worship together include: Audio Technology, Video Technology, Lighting Technicians, and Video Production. 

Communion 

The Communion Ministry allows both young and mature Christian men and women the opportunity to lead the thoughts of and serve communion to the congregation each and every Sunday throughout the year. 

Chad Higgins, Worship Minister

Chad organizes and plans our weekly gatherings for the HOCC family and equips the praise team and the AV ministry volunteers.  Chad also oversees our fellowship meals and recruits teachers for the spiritual formation of our adult disciples.
