CARE AND CONCERN MINISTRY
The Care and Concern ministry as it exists now began in 1992.  It exists to provide support to those in need, regardless of circumstances.

The Care and Concern ministry provides loving care in the form of hospital visits, prayers, phone calls, encouraging notes and letters, funeral support, as well as comfort and consolation.

George Baker, one of our Shepherds and also the Concern Minister at HOCC, with the help of the Concern ministry team, prays with members who are ill and their families.  He conducts funeral services and provides grief counseling for Highland Oaks members and their families.

In addition to visits and cards, the Concern Ministry utilizes e-mail to inform the congregation about special prayer requests for hurting families who have experienced deaths, serious illnesses, or accidents.

The Concern Ministry Team is available 24 hours a day.  If you have a need or request, please call the Highland Oaks church office at 214-342-6060 or email the Concern Ministry at concern@hocc.org.

“For as long as I shall live, I will testify to love.
I’ll be your witness in the silences when words are not enough
With every breath I take, I will give thanks to God above.”
