Iglesia de Cristo is a Spanish-speaking church supported meeting at Highland Oaks Church of Christ. This rapidly expanding, vibrant group of Christians meets in the Highland Oaks chapel for worship in Spanish. Desiring to grow in the image of Christ, this congregation reaches out and invites other families and friends so that they, too, can enjoy the presence of Christ in their lives.
 
La iglesia de Cristo existe para crecer a la imagen de Cristo. En nuestra jornada buscamos e invitamos a otras familias e individuos a gozar de la presencia de Cristo en sus vidas. Cada uno de nuestros ministerios busca ayudar a sus participantes a crecer a la imagen de Cristo. A continuación varios ministerios que pueden ser de beneficio para usted y los suyos a crecer a la imagen de Cristo.

The Priesthood Alive Cell Ministry
 
The Priesthood Alive Cell Ministry is designed to equip each member to minister to others through leadership or participation in a cell group. Utilizing small groups that meet in homes throughout the week, members study, pray, sing, and share the gospel.
 
Sacerdocio Vivo tiene la meta de equipar a todo miembro a ser líder de un grupo célula. Creemos que cada miembro es un sacerdote (I Pedro 2:5), por lo cual cada miembro debe crecer a ministrar a otros. En estas reuniones se alaba a Dios, se estudia la Santa Palabra, y se comparte el poderoso Evangelio. Las reuniones se llevan acabo en diferentes hogares, días y horarios. Nuestro hermano, Juan Guizar, con espíritu de Dios, preside estos grupos. Le invitamos a ser parte de uno de ellos.
 
The Warriors of Faith Ministry
 
The Warriors of Faith Ministry consists of brothers and sisters dedicated to praying for the needs of the church. They meet weekly, but are also available to go and pray where needed. Through their example, members are encouraged to live a life of prayer.
 
Guerreros de la Fe es un ministerio de un grupo de hermanos y hermanas dedicados a orar por las necesidades de la iglesia. Ellos se reúnen una vez por semana de forma regular, pero van a donde hay una necesidad. Además, procuran motivar a la iglesia a vivir en continua relación con Dios por medio de la oración. Nuestro hermano Devis Saucedo le invita a ser parte de este espiritual ministerio.
 
The Walking with God Ministry
 
The Walking with God Ministry is dedicated to searching for a deeper relationship with God. Every Friday, those involved meet in homes at 9:00 p.m. and pray for specific weaknesses, seek healings, cleanliness, and sanctification from God.
 
Caminado con Dios es un ministerio en busca de una relación con Dios profunda. Cada viernes a las 9 de la noche, los sedientos de Dios se dan cita en un hogar. Allí se busca un encuentro con el Espíritu de Dios. Dado a que buscamos un tiempo especial con Dios, hay hora de comienzo pero no tenemos hora para terminar. Es un tiempo especial de oración por nuestras debilidades. Buscamos sanidad, limpieza, y santificación de nuestro Dios. Un gran siervo de Dios, Delvis Saucedo encabeza este ministerio.
 
The Lois Ministry for Women
 
The Lois Ministry for Women honors the examples set by two women of the New Testament, Lois and Eunice, grandmother and mother of Timothy. The apostle Paul praised Timothy for his “sincere faith”, which no doubt was inspired by their examples. Following in the steps of these women of faith, the women of Iglesia de Cristo meet monthly to study the Word of God and to grow in faith. They also work together to celebrate
births, tend to the sick, comfort the grief-stricken, and encourage fellowship. With humbleness, they are learning how to past the torch of faith to their children.
 
Ministerio Loida-Ministerio de Damas - El gran siervo Timoteo fue alabado por el Apóstol Pablo por su “fe no fingida”, gracias a su abuela Loida y su madre Eunice. Nuestras damas están siguiendo las pisadas de estas dos grandes mujeres de fe. Ellas se reúnen una vez por mes para estudiar la Palabra de Dios, crecer en fe y planear actividades. Además, aprenden con humildad en como pasar la antorcha de la fe a sus hijos y nietos. Cada mes coordinan actividades como baño de regalos para embarazadas y convivíos diversos. Nuestra hermanas Lydia Guizar, con entrega de sierva de Dios, dirige este ministerio.
 
I am the Future
 
I am the Future Children’s Ministry seeks to equip children for a better future in Christ through careful instruction in the present that plants Christ in their minds and hearts. In addition to participation in the Sunday and Wednesday Bible classes in English, they engage in activities in Spanish to enhance a bicultural world.
 
Yo Soy el Futuro Ministerio de Niños - Si usted quiere ver como el futuro de la iglesia será, vea como los niños de hoy están siendo instruidos. Nuestro ministerio de niños lleva la finalidad de equipar a los niños de hoy para un futuro mejor en Cristo. El ministerio Yo Soy el Futuro, trabaja en formar en las mentes y corazones de nuestros niños a Cristo. Nuestros niños hispanos participan en las clases bíblicas impartidas en ingles cada domingo a las 10:30 A.M. y los miércoles alas 7:00 P.M. Además, participan en eventos y actividades creadas en español para enriquecer un mundo bicultural para ellos. Nuestra hermana Abigail Oviedo esta a cargo de este noble ministerio.
 
The Christian Force of Conquerors
 
The Christian Force of Conquerors -Youth Ministry works to gain strength from the Holy Spirit to conquer victories in their lives and to help other young people to do the same. They meet every Sunday and Friday for fellowship through recreational activities; guests are enthusiastically welcomed. In addition, major events, such as retreats, are planned in search of deeper fellowship and spiritual formation.
   
Fuerza Cristiana Conquistadora - El ministerio de jóvenes trabaja en llenarse de uerza del Espíritu Santo para conquistar triunfos en sus vidas primeramente y segundo ayudar a otros a lograr victorias en Cristo. Ellos se reúnen cada domingo y viernes para fortalecerse. Planean actividades recreativas donde gozan de comunión entre-ellos y sus invitados. Eventos mayores como retiros se llevaran acabo buscando la formación espiritual y el fortalecimiento de ellos. Miguel Ibarra y Alexis Ulloa desafían a estos jóvenes cada semana a ser conquistadores para Cristo.
 
The Emmanuel for the Metroplex Ministry of Evangelism
 
The Emmanuel for the Metroplex Ministry of Evangelism reaches out to Latinos living in Dallas who struggle with fear and work daily for survival, as people without a country. Through this outreach is the desire to fill them with hope in Christ and a permanent home in heaven.
 
Emanuel para el Metroplex Ministerio de Evangelismo - Si en los tiempos de Cristo, la gente vivía como ovejas sin pastor, en nuestros tiempos es una realidad que el Latino vive en medio de metrópolis como en el Metroplex, con temores diversos, como despatriados buscando sobre vivencia. Dios con nosotros-Emanuel, es el recate a una esperanza de un mundo mejor y un hogar seguro-el cielo. La iglesia es el organismo que Emanuel-Cristo usa para llevar consuelo, apoyo, y una comunidad Cristiana de refugio para ellos. Emanuel Para el Metroplex es un ministerio evangelistico, llevando el poderoso evangelio a los que sin Cristo viven. Nuestros hermanos José y Estela Echeverría ministran y coordinan con pasión este ministerio.
