The process of spiritual formation touches
human life from beginning to end. At HOCC, the Spiritual Formation
Ministries concentrate on providing an environment for all followers
and pre-followers of Jesus to grow in their relationship with Him.
All four of the HOCC core values are reflected in these ministries
as we pursue full spiritual growth in Christ.
Adults
Spiritual Formation is about becoming
more of what God has created us to be and the Spiritual Formation
ministry exists to support and challenge believers on that journey.
The Spiritual Formation ministry offers a generous selection of spiritual
growth opportunities including ministry involvement, service opportunities,
small groups and Biblically based teaching.
Students
The Outbreak Student Life Ministries exists to create
an environment where junior and senior high school students can encounter
Jesus Christ and establish a personal relationship with Him. Ministry
team members present God's message in relavent, experiential, interesting,
and unique ways while providing an atmosphere where all are welcomed.
Children
The Children's Ministry
desires to partner with parents in the spiritual development of
children birth through fifth grade. Children's Ministry team members
love children and believe that God created them with a desire to
know Him. The Children's Ministry exists to make disciples of children.
Disciples are boys and girls who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and
Savior and who are growing daily in knowledge, love, and service.
