| Beyond The Walls |
| New Churches for New
People: $1 Million* |
| Imagine
is more than a building campaign. It is a season in our church family's
history in which God is calling us to take leadership beyond the
reach of Highland Oaks' Dallas campus. Using funds God has provided
us through a gifting from the former Austin Street Church of Christ
in Garland, Texas, Highland Oaks is committing
one million dollars to the planting of new churches across the United
States |

"We
love that Highland Oaks has provided so many different ways
to serve over the years. "

| Way of Life Church of Christ - East
Hollywood, California |
| Highland
Oaks' first church plant, Way of Life Church of Christ, will be
located in East Hollywood, California, in one of America's toughest
neighborhoods. This is the first of many church plants Highland
Oaks will be part of both in the Metroplex and throughout the world. |

|
| "What
I love most about Highland Oaks is its willingness to teach
the word of God and let the Spirit speek freely through
the messages, songs, and prayers."
-
Jeremy Moore, member since 2006 - |

The Genesis Alliance will train and equip
Hispanic ministers to plant churches in the Metroplex and beyond.
Potential church planters will be carefully screened, selected,
and locally trained theologically and practically. Training will
be conducted in Spanish by highly qualified scholars using an interactive
video network with simultaneous connections in Houston, Dallas,
Miami, Silver Spring (MD), Arlington (VA), and |
|
Maracaibo, Venezuela. Multiple churches from
the Metroplex comprise the alliance, contributing significant resources
that will help Hispanic church plants succeed. Highland Oaks will
serve as the Dallas training site while the Highland Oaks Iglesia
de Cristo will serve as the first practical training ground under
the mentorship of Sixto Rivera. |
