Safety and Sickness Policies

What is your security policy?

Badge System

If you are a first time guest you will be directed to the Children’s Check-in kiosk where you will be greet and checked in at the kiosk.  You will receive a name tag for your child and a matching tag for you  (the guardian) to use when you pick up your child from class or the nursery.

You (the guardian) will need your matching tag in order to pick your child up at the end of class.  Fourth and fifth graders are allowed to leave class independently.

If your child attends Children’s Worship, Preschool Praise, (3 yrs – pre-k) you (the guardian) will need your tag to pick your child up.

On site security and medical

Our children and family areas are patrolled and monitored by our security team to provide safety.   In addition, our security team is trained in first aide.

How do you screen volunteers?

Every person who wants to volunteer in the Children’s Ministry must complete a Volunteer Form, have a Criminal Background performed, and be interviewed by a staff member.

What is your sick policy?

We operate a well-baby program. For the protection of all the children in our ministry, we cannot accept a child with a runny nose, fresh cold (four days or less), fever, rash, persistent cough, diarrhea or any other signs of illness. We request that you not place your child in the program while they are at risk of exposing other children.

Thank you in advance for helping us to maintain our nursery as a healthy place for all. It is important to note that even with these precautions children are exposed to illnesses. To reduce the risks, the changing tables, cribs, teaching areas, toys and manipulatives are sanitized after each class.
