More than anything else, Trey thinks
of himself as a learner. He is hungry to grow and become all that
God would have him be. He doesn’t believe God puts up many walls
between his children and what they desire to become, if only they
will prayerfully act on his behalf in the world where they find themselves.
With that in mind, he is always looking for others who are on that
same journey, and who embrace the ups and downs that inevitably come
when growth is the goal. He finds that his greatest growth is happening
as a husband to wife, Marla, and a father to son's Caden and Grant.
Trey loves spending time
with his family, catching a Rangers’ game, and rooting hard
for the Texas Longhorns. He’s also an avid baseball memorabilia
collector. Trey was born in Fort Worth, and has lived most of his
life in Texas. Before joining the staff of Highland Oaks in 2007,
Trey served the Family of God at Quail Springs in Oklahoma City as
their Connections Minister. He has completed both a Masters in Christian
Education and a Masters of Divinity.
