Over the years God has
developed within Jason a passion for worship and a desire to lead
people past themselves and into the presence of God. He believes that
worship is a lifestyle, not just a Sunday morning activity, just as
Paul calls us to offer our bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing
to God. Jason has said that “Sunday morning worship times are
the greatest blessing when they are the culmination of a week’s
worth of worship in the lives of God’s people.” Jason
wants to help people not only worship with their voice, but with every
aspect of their life.
In addition to worship,
Jason also has a heart for families and their spiritual growth and
stability. He loves spending time with his wonderful wife Libby, and
his three boys Ryker, Mace, & Hawke. He enjoys live music, playing
video games, and reading. A graduate of Lubbock Christian University,
Jason has come to us with over 11 years of Youth
Ministry and Worship leading experience.
He has played in multiple bands, toured with vocal groups, and worked
in the studio and on the road with Christian artists Acappella. Jason
joined the Highland Oaks staff in July of 2007.
