Elder Wayne Neu and his wife of 45 years, Bertie, have attended Highland Oaks for more than 30 years; Wayne has served as an elder since 1984. |
| Wayne and Bertie have three children and seven grandchildren. Wayne names leadership, teaching, and shepherding as his spiritual gifts, and is known for his ability to listen and helping others to see all the sides of a situation. Wayne retired from a career in education in May of 2000, leaving more time for his service as a shepherd at Highland Oaks, Bible class teacher, husband, father, and grandfather. | |
