Vince retired from Raytheon as a Systems Engineer in 2001, after 25 years of service. Vince and his wife, Nedra, were married in 1998 after they both lost spouses to cancer. Between them they have six children and thirteen grandchildren. When asked about his service as an elder, Vince explained, "My desire for Highland Oaks is that we first love the Lord and submit totally to his will and then love others as Jesus loved us."
