Elder Kent Denton and his wife Marlene have attended Highland Oaks since 1975; Kent has served as an elder since 1984. He believes, with God’s blessings and direction, Highland Oaks Church of Christ will be a church of service and continue to do the will of the Father.
 
Kent had a successful career of 33 years with The Upjohn Pharmaceutical Co. and retired in 1998. He did contract work for Pharmacia until October 2000. He served as General Manager for the Lakewood Retirement Center, Fort Worth, Texas until October 1, 2001 and retired again. Marlene and Kent enjoy the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with their two son’s families and 6 grandchildren.
