Elder Joe walker and his wife Glenda have attended Highland Oaks since 1992; Joe has served as an elder since 1997. |
| Joe retired in 1997 after a 34 year career in education. When asked about his service as an elder, Joe replied, "What I most appreciate about Highland Oaks is the diversity of their people and their demonstration of love for each other and the Church." In his spare time, Joe enjoys volunteering in the Helping Hearts ministry, Deaf ministry, and spending time with his wife and two sons. | |
