Bill has a passion for working with older church members because, "...sometimes churches tend to overlook older members and stress young family ministry because they are the future of the church. I believe that we need to recognize that our older members are our history, the ones who got us here; they are great prayer warriors and they are strong supportors of our church." In his spare time, Bill enjoys cruising with friends, visiting mission sites, and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. When asked about his service as an elder, Bill replied, " I believe that Highland Oaks is a very loving, non-judgmental, and accepting church. A lot of people who are uncomfortable elsewhere and don’t feel they fit discover that here they do belong and have a home."
